Season To Date: 4-2

Philadelphia Eagles (0-2) at New York Jets (2-0): The Eagles are the more desperate team, but the Jets are a difficult matchup.  The Jets have assembled a big, strong and physical team on both sides of the ball.  Philly’s offensive line has been outplayed this season and they are banged up at linebacker.  The Jets may be due to a letdown after Monday night’s impressive win over the Colts.  However, Gang Green is at home and Todd Bowles’ hardnosed mentality and steady hand keeps the team focused.  Jets outhit the Eagles and send Philly reeling.  New York 24- Philadelphia 13.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-0) at Baltimore Ravens (0-2): John Harbaugh is a fantastic head coach and it is hard to see such a well-run organization as the Ravens starting the season 0 and 3.  However, the Bengals beat the Ravens in Baltimore last season and they can do it again.  Cincinnati is the better team right now.   Andy Dalton can take advantage of a still suspect Baltimore secondary and a pass rush missing Terrell Suggs.  The Bengals have too many weapons on offense and outscore a proud Baltimore team.  Bengals 27- Ravens 24.

Atlanta Falcons (2-0) at Dallas Cowboys (2-0): Dallas is missing Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, Greg Hardy and Randy Gregory for this game.  That is a lot of talent.  The Cowboys’ running game has also taken on a finesse feel with the departure of DeMarco Murray.  The Cowboys could win this game with a power ground attack and an improved defense.  However, Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden and Lance Dunbar are not strong downhill runners who can wear down Atlanta’s defense behind a terrific offensive line.  Matt Ryan and Julio Jones make enough plays to edge a game Dallas effort. Falcons 20- Cowboys 17.
