Season To Date: 13-5

Dallas Cowboys (2-3) at New York Giants (3-3): Big Blue is coming off of a terrible performance against the Eagles.  The Giants will also be looking to avenge a tough opening game loss to Dallas.  Matt Cassel replaces an ineffective Brandon Weeden at quarterback for the Cowboys.  However, this should not be a major boost.  Cassel may get the ball down further than Weeden, but this likely results in as many negative plays as positive ones.  Eli Manning plays well against Dallas and the Giants earn an important division victory.  Giants 20- Cowboys 16.

New York Jets (4-1) at New England Patriots (5-0): It is amazing that Tom Brady has so much passion for football that he still strives to improve his game every season.  The work Brady did to improve his movement in the pocket is paying dividends.  The Jets have a good team with a rock-solid defense and a physical running game.  However, the Pats figure to contain New York’s ground game and force Ryan Fitzpatrick to beat them.  The Jets’ quarterback makes one too many mistakes and Tom Brady leads New England to a win at home in a close game.  Patriots 23- Jets 17.

Oakland Raiders (2-3) at San Diego Chargers (2-4): The Raiders are rested and should be able to run the ball and limit Phillip Rivers’ possessions.  The Chargers’ lack of a running game also will hurt them in this game.  Oakland is an improved team that can put some pressure on Rivers.  Derek Carr burns a suspect San Diego secondary and leads Oakland to a key division road win.  Oakland 30- San Diego 27.
