Season To Date: 2-4

Minnesota Vikings (2-0) at Carolina Panthers (1-1): The Vikings stout defense keeps them in the game against a Carolina team that excels at home.  Ultimately, Minnesota struggles to get over the hump as they are forced to pass the ball too much as the Panthers shut down their ground game.  Cam Newton finds one of his tall targets late to defeat a game Vikings squad.  Carolina 20- Minnesota 14.

Denver Broncos (2-0) at Cincinnati Bengals (1-1): The Bengals will be fired up for their home opener.  Trevor Siemian plays in his first road game and struggles.  The Broncos outstanding defense will be missing DeMarcus Ware.  Andy Dalton plays well enough to edge the defending Super Bowl champions.  Cincinnati 17- Denver 16.

Washington Redskins (0-2) at New York Giants (2-0): The Giants spent a ton of money on defense and it appears to be money well spent.  Big Blue is much improved on defense.  Kirk Cousins is finding out that it is extremely difficult to consistently play well year-after-year.  Eli Manning has a variety of playmakers to throw to and the Giants keep it going. New York 27- Washington 20.
