NFL Week 8, Top 3 Picks

Season-To-Date: 7-14

Seattle Seahawks (3-3) at Detroit Lions (3-3): The Lions have been playing well and finally have a legit rushing attack to support Matthew Stafford.  Seattle can be run on and lack a big pass rush.  Detroit should be able to have offensive success against a well-coached Seattle defense. The Lions are at home and edge the Hawks to keep their momentum going.

Detroit 24- Seattle 21.

New Orleans Saints (5-1) at Minnesota Vikings (4-2-1): The Saints are coming off of a terrific road win against a tough Baltimore Ravens team.  New Orleans has an excellent team that can win on the road against a quality opponent.  The Saints remember losing to the Vikings in last season’s playoffs on the “Minneapolis Miracle” play and want revenge.  They will be extra motivated to win another tough road game.  The Saints outscore a Minnesota team that is not as good defensively this season.  The Saints also have the edge in their rushing attack.

Saints 30- Vikings 27.

Green Bay Packers (3-2-1) at Los Angeles Rams (7-0): The Rams can be run on and Aaron Rodgers will be healthier after a bye week.  The Packers have the tools for an upset, but the Rams have two special players. Aaron Donald and Todd Gurley are dominant players that Green Bay will struggle with. LA edges Green Bay in an exciting shootout.

Rams 34- Packers 31.
